The story of MIP Grip Socks starts with solving the problem of import duties into Spain.

I'm Thomas McMillan, born in Scotland and now currently residing on the Spanish Mainland. My eldest son Maddox (now a proud brand ambassador and hopefully becoming a professional footballer in the UK soon), had ordered a pair of grip socks online 2 years ago that ended up costing more in import duties as it did for the socks!

Playing regular semi-pro football in the Spanish heat at the time, Maddox's feet suffered a lot from swelling, so finding a quality pair of grip socks was essential. But rather than pay ridiculous post-Brexit tax every time he needed a new pair, we decided to have our own made.

Since starting our journey, we've tried and tested a wide range of sock and rubber material, as well as ways to make our socks as breathable and comfortable as possible; all whilst provide the best anchorage between foot, sock and shoe.

After lots of hard work and dedication (or research and development as some may call it), we're really proud to say MIP Grip Socks tick all the boxes, and the feedback from athletes across all sports has been incredible.
